Come join us in Rockford, IL for the Maryville University acute care workshop to learn all the commonly privileged skills used during routine inpatient care in a critical environment such as the emergency department, intensive care, transport medicine, and more!
This 8-hour live course is open to all current acute care students (ideally for but not limited to those in 612, 641, 643, or 645), as well as faculty and preceptors, past and present. It is designed to give you the skills you need to be successful in the transition to your first role, a new role, or just as a refresher with fun hands-on continuing education with world-class simulation equipment! Includes 9 hours of online content through our Online CE Portal for lifetime access to supplemental content and lectures! This course is normally $499, but due to the partnership between SOP and Marville, we have discounted it to $327 for your convenience!
Please note for all 2024 dates, the course will be held on Saturdays and will be hosted at the NIU Rockford Conference Center at 8500 E. State St. Rockford, IL 61108 and is conveniently located near all hotels and our recommended bus transportation Van Galder (coachusa.com) from O’Hare International Airport.
This one-day course includes a broad assortment of inpatient skills commonly performed in the acute care environment and also includes a series of online courses to reinforce the learning.

This course is available to all Maryville students, faculty, and preceptors, past and present.
